Training is only half the battle...

Far too often, athletes give it their all in training—only to return home to a pantry in disarray and with no nutrition plan for recovery or tomorrow’s training. Sports nutrition doesn’t stop when the workout ends; the meals, snacks, and hydration we choose outside of training can have as big an impact on our performance as the effort we put in during training. Understanding how to fuel your health and performance is the next step in unlocking your potential. 

Alex Winnicki, Owner of Second Arrow,  has a multitude of acronyms following his name, including, MS, RDN, LDN, CSSD, as well as being a Performance Dietitian. With a background in professional cycling and NCAA athletics, Alex specializes in endurance sports, RED-s, and disordered eating. He earned his degrees in nutrition and dietetics from Appalachian State and Lamar University and has worked as a Gatorade SNIP Fellow at Northwestern University. Previously, Alex served as the Director of Olympic Sports Nutrition at Liberty University and served as the school's Assistant Cycling Coach.
