DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, May 21st\, 2025\, the Fort Collins cycling community will join thousands across the globe for the International Ride of Silence\, a solemn and powerful event held annually on the third Wednesday in May. This no-drop\, slow-paced ride honors those who have been killed or seriously injured while riding on public roadways and reminds motorists to safely share the road.\n\n\nThis year’s ride carries deep meaning for our community. In addition to stopping at the sites of two bicycle fatalities from 2023 — George Rigby and James Defazio — we will also acknowledge the recent and tragic death of Ian Dickinson\, who was killed by a motorcyclist on April 27th\, 2025.
