Good Company Bike Club (GCBC) is a Brooklyn-based social cycling club founded in June 2020 by Drew Bennett to bridge the Black community through the joy of cycling. GCBC is more than a club; it is a community-driven initiative that provides a positive, safe, and inclusive outlet for cyclists of all skill levels throughout New York City. The club's mission is to promote safety, inclusivity, and positivity, while also raising awareness and supporting Black-owned businesses. They host various events, including their signature "Freedom Ride" and "Sunday Funday" rides, fostering physical and digital connections within the local community. GCBC actively works to change the narrative of cycling by creating accessible pathways and recreational spaces for people of color to embrace cycling.
