Big Wheels Bike Club

The Big Wheels Bike Club is a non-competitive, open road cycling club based in Tonawanda, NY, serving Northern Erie County and Southern Niagara County. Founded in the early 1970s, the club promotes bicycle riding for fresh air, exercise, fitness, and fun. Rides are scheduled daily from late March through October, weather permitting, with Sunday rides often exploring points of interest in Western New York and the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. Membership is $20 for an individual and $30 for a family, which includes a newsletter, ride schedule, and invitations to social events like a summer picnic, a November banquet, and a February wine and cheese party. The club is focused on camaraderie and welcomes all skill levels, encouraging new members to condition early in the season as rides become longer and more challenging.
