About
The Westchester Cycle Club (WCC) is a non-profit organization established in 1975 to promote cycling in Westchester County, New York. Recognized as the top bicycling club in the country by the League of American Bicyclists in 2011, WCC's mission is to educate the public on the benefits and safety of cycling, promote community awareness through organized events, and advocate for the development of cycling facilities. The club offers a variety of member-led group rides for all skill levels, from beginner-friendly 'D' rides to fast-paced 'A' rides, scheduled on weekends, weekdays, and evenings. They also host major annual events like the Golden/Dirty Apple ride. Membership includes access to a library of cue sheets, member discounts at local bike shops, and a monthly newsletter. The WCC is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and safe environment for all cyclists in the Lower Hudson Valley and surrounding areas.
