About
The Fats in the Cats Bicycle Club is a dedicated non-profit organization and an IMBA Chapter, focused on promoting cycling advocacy, trail building, trail maintenance, and community service in New York's Catskill Park and Hudson Valley Region. Established in 1994, the club is a fun bunch of cyclists who organize group rides for all levels and abilities. Beyond riding, they are heavily involved in trail stewardship and community outreach, including an annual Santa Ride where they give away bikes to needy children. They also host the New Paltz Bike Swap to fund their operations. Membership supports local trail work and provides IMBA benefits and local shop discounts.
