Lost River Cycling was founded in 1996 in Mackay, Idaho, and was originally created to promote the Northwest's oldest mountain bike race, the White Knob Challenge. Now based in Boise, Idaho, the club is open to all cyclists and offers regular weekly mountain bike and road rides, as well as special discounts from sponsors for members. The club emphasizes local competition and diversity, welcoming riders from Cat 1 racers to beginners.
