The Rochester Bicycling Club (RBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cycling for sport, recreation, health, and transportation in the greater Rochester area and the Finger Lakes region. Founded in 1967, the club has over 50 years of history supporting advocacy, education, and community cycling events. RBC schedules hundreds of rides each year, ranging from 10 to over 100 miles, catering to a wide range of ages and abilities. The club focuses on day touring on secluded, two-lane blacktop roads. In addition to a diverse ride calendar, membership benefits include access to hundreds of maps and routes, a newsletter, insurance, and social gatherings such as picnics and dinners. The club actively works to protect the rights of cyclists and increase bicycle safety on all roads and trails.
