The South Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League (SCICL) was founded in 2018 as a NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) Project League. It is a volunteer-based organization of parents and leaders dedicated to developing youth into strong and healthy individuals with a lifelong love for the sport of cycling. The league consists of multiple school-based, composite, and shop-sponsored teams throughout South Carolina, focusing on the principles of strong body, strong mind, strong character, equity, and inclusivity.
