The Toonerville Rail Trail is a 3.2-mile paved, multi-use path built on the former Toonerville Trolley rail bed, following the Black River in Springfield, Vermont. It is managed by the Springfield Parks & Recreation Department and is popular for walking, running, and biking. The trail features views of the river, waterfalls, and wildlife, and is part of the larger Springfield Greenway initiative.
