GFNY Maryland

October 4 @ 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
32

Join us for Maryland’s biggest and hardest road race, featuring a 92-mile long course and an approachable 48-mile medium course, with police-controlled intersections, fully stocked aid stations, mechanical and SAG support, a finisher medal, and post-race meal for every rider. Race-week activities take place in downtown Cambridge, where riders pick up their packets and enjoy music, awards, festivities, and the post-race meal. Starting from Race Street, the course travels through the scenic Dorchester County countryside, featuring waterways, marshlands, farms, forests, Chesapeake Bay views, Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, and Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historical Park. The course is GFNY’s flattest, making it fast and ideal for riding in a peloton, while remaining beginner-friendly despite occasional strong winds. Long-route riders complete the loop twice before returning to downtown Cambridge.
