The start/finish lines for the bike races and their awards will begin at the High Lonesome Ranch on Saturday. All other festivities will be in the town of DeBeque, this includes, Friday night registration, camping and Sunday morning’s half marathon.   Also, if you need any last minute items for your ride, check out Roan Creek Bikeworks and Coffee

Crooked Gravel

Crooked Gravel takes a few cues from an exploratory event the legendary Ron Kiefel put together a decade ago called Crooked Roubaix. Back before gravel bikes were really a thing, Kiefel and some friends set out on a 95-mile dirt-road adventure from Winter Park up into the high mountains on road bikes. Fast forward to 2025 and we’ve all become part of the exciting world of gravel.

Winter Park, Colorado has hundreds of miles of smooth and stunning gravel roads featuring beautiful wildflowers, Aspen groves and babbling brooks. Each course makes a loop through this amazing terrain, starting and finishing in the heart of downtown Winter Park. Both courses feature a neutral, police-led start down Main Street. From there, riders are directed onto their courses. The short course has 25 miles on rolling terrain before routing back to town. The long course is just more of a good thing — more miles, more climbing and more views. Topping out at 10,500 feet with a 12-mile, sustained climb, this course offers a breathtaking challenge for all.

The Core Values of Gemini Adventures

Gemini is built around three core values which we embody at every one of our races or events:

  • Community – We put on festivals to bring people together on and off the trails.
  • Adventure – We believe that getting out of your comfort zone and getting outside are the best ways to feel alive; a little adventure is always good for the soul.
  • Support – We take care of our athletes on and off the trail by providing challenges that are safe and welcoming for them, their friends and families, and our crew.

Competing in endurance events takes commitment and running these events take just as much dedication. At Gemini Adventures, they are dedicated to those core values at every step of the way so everyone who takes part in their races can feel confident knowing that they are looking out for them.

Gemini Adventures is also looking for ways they can better serve the community, so please feel free to contact them with any ideas and/or questions.
