This past Saturday, August 2, many cyclists in Colorado were “getting their bike on” at either the Crooked Gravel in Winter Park, or getting rained and hailed on at the Copper Triangle. But thousands of cycling fans stayed behind and congregated in Littleton, Colorado to enjoy the
thrills, chills, and spills at the Littleton Twilight Criterium. This event has become one of the premier criteriums in the country but also has a draw for cycling and bike fans and participants of all ages and types, and also is a truly a family event.
The Audi Denver Littleton Twighlight Criterium in 2025 was a success, featuring thrilling races, community engagement and live music. The event included both
professional and amateur races, as well as a family cruiser ride and an arts festival. The races were held under the lights, making it a unique “twilight” criterium experience.
Event Recap: The Audi Denver @littletontwilightcrit delivered an unforgettable evening of speed, energy, and community in the heart of beautiful @downtownlittletonco.
From the Kids Adventure Zone to the food truck loop, live music, and pulse-pounding races featuring @primalaudidenver, this high-octane celebration had something for everyone—families, athletes, furry friends, and fans alike.
Audi Denver was proud to be part of the action once again. Bikes, beats, and Audi style.
If you have not attended a criterium, just imagine Formula 1 Racing…on a bike. The riders are doing quick laps through an enclosed course in Downtown Littleton, at high speeds, breaking for turns, and positioning themselves for attacks, by drafting and looking for the perfect time and opening to make a move.
It is practically made for spectators, with excitement, drama, speed, and mis-haps from time to time. With all
that speed and intensity comes risk, and sometimes that comes with reward, and sometimes punishment. Ryan Muncy of Ryan Muncy Photography was at the event, doing what he does best: catching the action with an artistic eye that has made him a household name in cycling race photography in the region.
