GFNY NYC

GFNY World Championship NYC is the world’s most international cycling race, bringing riders from over 90 countries to experience an unforgettable race through New Jersey and New York. Race-week activities are centered around the George Washington Bridge and Fort Lee, New Jersey, with the GFNY Village hosting group rides, registration, packet pickup, the NYC Bike Expo, and Bike Zone. On race day, riders begin with an iconic closed-road start on the George Washington Bridge before heading through the historic Palisades and along Route 9W into New York State, following tree-lined roads, rolling hills, fast flats, and stretches along the Hudson River. The major climbing begins at Mott Farm Road, including Gate Hill and Cheesecote, before the final climb back to Fort Lee and the finish. The finish village celebrates with music, photos, podium ceremonies, and a post-race festival featuring food, drinks, and activities for riders, families, and spectators—making GFNY NYC a truly extraordinary cycling experience.
