Set against the lush backdrop of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, the rally offers participants a fully supported, multi-day riding experience designed specifically for tandem cyclists. Riders can choose from a variety of thoughtfully curated routes that showcase quiet country roads, rolling farmland, and iconic Pacific Northwest landscapes, each paired with well-stocked rest stops and a welcoming, social atmosphere.
NWTR is a celebration of tandem cycling culture. The Northwest Tandem Rally has traveled extensively throughout the Northwest since 1986. The event is traditionally held on either the Memorial Day or Fourth of July weekend. It is produced as an all-volunteer event, designed to be family-oriented, grassroots, and affordable. To the left is a complete list of rallies to date. We offer a family-friendly event with a variety of route lengths and difficulties.
