GFNY Ventura

The race headquarters, packet pickup, start, and celebratory finish are all at Mission Park in Downtown Ventura. From there, riders tackle a scenic loop through Ventura, Santa Paula, Ojai, and the surrounding Ventura County countryside. The route begins with rolling terrain before the 8-mile Dennison Grade climb, followed by a long descent through the beautiful Ojai Valley. Riders then climb Saddle Mountain before descending toward the finish. Medium-route riders head directly back to Ventura, while long-route riders continue on a 32-mile out-and-back through Lake Casitas and Carpinteria, including the challenging Casitas Pass climbs. Both routes finish on Crooked Palm Road before a relaxed 3-mile bike-trail ride leads back to Mission Park, where the celebratory finish, medals, food, music, awards, and post-race festivities await.
