This strategic partnership unites two organizations dedicated to fostering the love of cycling, celebrating grassroots gravel culture, and supporting meaningful charitable causes.
As the Official Media Partner, Avid Cyclist will provide comprehensive coverage leading up to and during the highly anticipated 2026 Gravel Worlds events, taking place August 19-23 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Avid Cyclist team will be on-site with a hospitality tent, capturing the energy, stories, and triumphs of participants. Gravel Worlds, celebrating its 16th year in 2025 and continuing its legacy into 2026, is known for its inclusive culture, grassroots origins, and challenging courses. The 2026 event lineup features multiple distinct and challenging rides and runs, catering to all levels of athletes:
Lauf Gravel Worlds 150
The premier event charting a route of approximately 150 miles and over 10,000+ ft of climbing through the rural farmlands of Southeastern Nebraska. Competitors vie for the title of Captain of the Gravel Seas, the World Champions Jersey, and the Sword Trophy.
Lauf Gravel Worlds 75
A 75-mile voyage with 5,000 ft of elevation, offering a formidable challenge with checkpoints and high-seas refueling opportunities.
Lauf Gravel Worlds 35
A 35-mile non-competitive event for those looking to get their feet wet in the world of gravel, featuring rolling hills and a supportive atmosphere.
Lauf Gravel Worlds 300
The ultimate 300-mile, 100% self-supported challenge for the most dedicated gravel cyclists, amassing over 15,000 ft of elevation.
Lauf Gravel Worlds Run Series & Triathlon
Expanding the #gravelfamily to runners and triathletes with 50k, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k options, as well as a Gravel Worlds Tri.
